As far back as I can remember, all I wanted to do was to cut hair. So you could say, I have my dream job! I started my career at 15-years-old, and was qualified by the age of 18. I Joined the Ken Picton salon two years ago, I and love the vibe of the salon and working as part of a great team. I specialise in cutting hair but also enjoy colour work, too.

I've been hairdressing for 12 years and joined the Ken Picton team in 2009. I work in all aspects of hairdressing including cutting, styling and hair-up, especially bridal work. Outside of my salon work, I love doing photo shoots and presenting at shows. I absolutely love what I do, and feel very fortunate that my job is spending my days making my clients look and feel great.

Where shall I start? I suppose from the beginning!
I've been in hairdressing for 10 years and I love my job. I'm a perfectionist and like to keep on top of my trade. I love learning new techniques. I specialise in cutting both womens and mens hair, with a particular passion for creative cutting. I trained at Vidal Sassoon and also have worked there as a stylist.
Alongside Louise, I teach our apprentices at Ken Picton and I really enjoy passing on my knowledge.
Most of all, I enjoy the interaction my job gives me with all you guys!

Hi. I've been in the hair and beauty industry for 15 years, and am approaching my 10th year at Ken Picton. I am as enthusiastic as I was when I started - if not more!
Since the birth of my two children I work part-time, but I still give 100% to the salon. I love working as part of a great artistic team which enables me to gain different skills from my colleagues. Working alongside Ken Picton himself is great as his knowledge of the industry and his many years of experience are invaluable. Plus his enthusiasm and vision does rub off on you.
A big part of my hairdressing philosophy is to push the boundaries and get myself to the next level. This includes a genuine passion for bridal/dressing hair. I work very closely with Lara (our fabulous make-up artist) to make a bride's day as special and stress-free as I can - you name it, Lara and I have done it! I've also had the pleasure of doing a cover shoot for a wellknown bridal magazine, and I loved every minute.
I enjoy every aspect of my job, which allows me to offer a full range of hairdressing services to my clients.
