I started working for Ken in 1995 which makes it 15 years! I started my training at ken pictons zoo when I was sixteen and i have specialised in colour ever since qualifying, as I love to see colour transformations and making clients feel happy and confident about themselves.

Hi, I've worked with Ken for around 19 years. I knew when I was training that colour was the career choice for me and what I wanted to specialise in. I love everything about colour and love making clients look and feel great. Over the years I have built up great relationships and friendships, not just the team but with clients too. It's part of what makes this job so great!!

Hi, I have been working for Ken picton salon for 6 years. I completed my training here and I am now a colour director. After completeing my training I decided to become a colour technician as I have always been interested in colour and really enjoy every aspect of it. My favourite part of the job is meeting new people and no two days are the same.

Hi my name is Nicola and I have been working at Ken Picton for 6 years. I’ve been hairdressing for 16 years specialising in colour for 12 of those. I trained in the midlands and then moved to London where I worked as a colour technican in Covent Garden. It was a great experience which helped me grow as a colourist and I loved it. I’m proud to say I completed my “master colour programme” which is the highest qualification one can achieve in our industry for colour! I'm a real perfectionist and am always pushing myself to achieve more. I guess I’m just one of those lucky people who love their job and I’m very passionate about colouring. I also love a challenge!
